Seminar on "Covering Globalisation"
The Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism together with the Initiative for Policy Dialogue will sponsor its fourth "Covering Globalisation" seminar. The four-day workshop will be led by Nobel Laureate economist Joseph E. Stiglitz. The goal of the seminar is to strengthen journalists' economic literacy and to improve journalists' knowledge of global economic issues. Experts like academics, World Bank officials, NGO and corporate representatives will give practical training sessions.
Journalists who are interested in participating can find more information on the seminar's agenda and the application process on this website. Applications must be received by January 16, 2006. The application fee is $25.
